Dr. Steven Perman, DC, DACBSP, DACBN
Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Steve Perman is a holistic chiropractor, nutritionist, acupuncturist, teacher and motivational speaker. His credentials include two full Board Certifications: Chiropractic Sports Medicine (DACBSP) and Clinical Nutrition (DACBN). His acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine certification was through the University of Miami School of Medicine. He attended Emory University in Atlanta and graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 1979 where he also served as a clinical instructor from 1981-83. In 2005, he was named the statewide “Chiropractor of the Year” by the Florida Chiropractic Association. He was recently appointed to the ACBN National Examining Board to evaluate and assess physicians seeking their board certification in clinical nutrition.
In 2010, he was elected to, and served for 2 years in, the Florida House of Representatives for District 78 which included portions of West Boca, West Delray and West Boynton. He was the Ranking Member on the Health Access Subcommittee.
A popular and sought-after public speaker, he has appeared before hundreds of lay and professional audiences lecturing on a broad range of topics related to health, wellness and success. His private practice has been located in Boca Raton, FL since 1995.
